Bitnovo Introduces Automated Crypto Payment Solution for Businesses
Spanish fintech company Bitnovo has launched a new feature that enables businesses to automate cryptocurrency payments using artificial intelligence (AI). The system leverages the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, facilitating secure connections between AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, and various external services.
Integration of AI and Crypto Payments
Bitnovo's latest innovation aims to streamline payment processes in digital assets for companies. By utilizing MCP technology, businesses can automate tasks such as invoice issuance and payment link generation. The protocol operates with an open standard, allowing companies the flexibility to choose the AI platform that best fits their requirements.
The tool is also designed to connect seamlessly with sales systems, messaging services, accounting software, and customer relationship management platforms. This integration helps reduce the risk of errors during payment operations.
Security Measures
According to a statement provided to CriptoNoticias, Bitnovo emphasized that the automated payment service was built with the same security standards as its core payment platform. Features include restricted access to critical functions, replay attack prevention, and masking of sensitive data. These measures are intended to enhance the safety of automated crypto transactions for businesses.
Industry Context and Regulatory Environment
The launch comes as Spain increases its oversight of the cryptocurrency sector under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) is tightening its supervision of crypto service providers. Major entities, including BBVA and Bit2Methe first Spanish exchange to obtain a MiCA licenseare already complying with these new rules.
Bitnovo's move underscores the growing convergence of AI and cryptocurrency in the evolution of business payments, offering a secure and adaptable solution to meet regulatory and operational demands.
