Beaxy, a cryptocurrency exchange based in the United States, has announced a strategic integration with Hummingbot, an open-source market-making platform. The collaboration aims to expand access to automated trading strategies for Beaxy users and improve overall market liquidity.
Revealed in July 2021, the partnership enables traders on Beaxy to deploy algorithmic bots directly through the Hummingbot interface. By using the Hummingbot Gateway API, users can implement advanced strategies such as arbitrage, market making, and liquidity mining with minimal coding knowledge.
"Our partnership with Hummingbot reflects Beaxy's commitment to innovation and accessibility," said Beaxy's Head of Product. "Automated trading is increasingly in demand, and this integration brings professional tools to retail users in a user-friendly way."
Hummingbot, known for its open-source nature and wide adoption across various exchanges, allows users to contribute to strategy development and share improvements with the community. The platform has been praised for its transparency and flexibility in a sector where algorithmic trading is often limited to institutional players.
As part of the rollout, Beaxy plans to support liquidity mining campaigns that reward users who contribute to the platform's depth and stability. These initiatives are designed to attract more traders and ensure tighter spreads on key trading pairs.
The move comes as cryptocurrency exchanges increasingly explore automated tools to enhance efficiency, reduce slippage, and empower users. With this partnership, Beaxy aims to bridge the gap between professional trading infrastructure and the broader crypto community.
